desaturate_all's Introduction

Installation

Step 1

Copy this folder to the gnome-shell extension folders, typically under .local/share/gnome-shell/extensions.

Step 2

Using a terminal (ctrl + alt + t), you can do the following sequence of commands :

$ git clone https://github.com/laerne/desaturate_all.git This downloads the repository into your current folder (can be anywhere)

Step 4

$ mv desaturate_all ".local/share/gnome-shell/extensions/[email protected]"This moves it into the default GNOME extensions folder

Step 5

Then restart GNOME by pressing ALT + F2, then entering r and validating with RETURN.

Step 6

You can now enable the extension by browsing to https://extensions.gnome.org/local .

Step 7

Click on the icon on the top right corner of your screen to enable / disable the desaturation.
