The pdf is password protected. What is the password?

Machine - irked

ozunu-irked.pdf can not be opened with root flag, tried user flag also.
However I am able to open giru-irked.pdf which is for the same machine.

Machines writeups until 2020 March are protected with the corresponding root flag. But since this date, HTB flags are dynamic and different for every user, so is not possible for us to maintain this kind of system. So from now we will accept only password protected challenges and retired machines (that machine write-ups don't need password).

As far as I understand that means that you don't accept Active Machines WU anymore?

Instead of the root.txt hash it could be the md5sum of the root shadow entry for linux and ntlm Admin entry for Windows.

Eg. in pseudo-code with fictive examples

• Linux: md5('root:$6$YIFGN9YscCV72BjFtx/tehbc7sQTJp09c5.:18277:0:99999:7:::')
• Windows: md5('Administrator:500:aad3b435b51404eeaad3b435b51404ee:31d6cfe0d16ae931b73c59d7e0c:::')

The Kryptos write up fiti-Kryptos.pdf does unlock with the correct root password.

First of this is a nice repo, it helps a lot to clarify ideas after completing a box, because nine times out of ten I hear from people that there is a different way to root them.
after completing sizzle was wondering if my user approach with wireshark was coherent, but the write up seems like it's missing.

file TheLegend-Snake.pdf can not be open with the flag. However file spenkk-snake.pdf can be opened using the same flag

Invalid password for file fiti-Friendzone.pdf.

Tried to open in FoxReader and online http://pdfviewer.softgateon.net/

The morph3-friendzone.pdf it's ok.

Hi, can you check the password of Embryonic Plant? I have solved the challenge and posted on HTB, it got accepted. So im not sure if im doing something wrong here, the format im using is HTB{...}.

Password for PDF wilson-onetwoseven is invalid when I pasted root flag. The other PDF (fiti) is readable with root flag.

Root flag doesn't open the PDF for SwagShop. Seems like a trend lately...

Password of Obscure is not the flag.
To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Download file
2. Descompress
3. Write the flag as password

Expected behavior
File opened.

All the PDF writeups for the box Celestial, except https://github.com/Hackplayers/hackthebox-writeups/blob/master/machines/Celestial/fibbot-celestial.pdf, cannot be decrypted with the root hash as password
