Mobtime

The most fun web timer to time mob or pair turns. At the end of each turn, it plays a fun sound from a playlist.

• Yjs, a js framework to enable peer to peer applications
• y-webrtc, make Yjs share its data through webrtc
  • Thus it needs a signaling server to link peer from a room
• y-indexeddb, make Yjs persist your data in the indexed db of your browser

mobtime's Issues

Bug : can't rename a participant

Steps to reproduce :

1. start a mob session
2. add a participant
3. try to rename the participant

Current behavior : when pressing key, the letter appear and disappear, the input is reset to the initial name

Expected behavior : we are able to rename a participant

Feature request : decrease the minimum volume

When doing remote pair / mob programming, sometimes i have to put my volume very high, so the minimum volume of MobTime is to high

Detect websocket disconnection

Detect websocket disconnection and do something. Maybe display a toast ? We could refresh the page but if there is no internet it will go into an infinite loop

Bottom title is cropped

Currently, the bottom title of the mob is cropped in the header, it's visible for letters with paw like "gpq"

Hi,

To change the driver / navigator pair
When each of us has been both roles
We used to do a mini-retro and then shuffle the mobbers

Often, we forget that we have done a full turn

It would be nice to have a function that would notify when a turn has been done

What is the meaning of the icon at left of the icon profile ?

The volume of Harry Potter song is really low compared to others

Driver / Navigator disambiguation

Hello,

My teammates always forget the meaning and responsibilities of the roles "driver" and "navigator"

I suggest (in the "Home" and "Mobbers" tabs):

• add an icon near the role
• add descriptions of the roles (with a tooltip overlay?)

Work on multiple time zones

Mean time between drivers

Calculate the mean time to switch between to drivers and display it in a new stats tab
