A cellular automata made in Godot 3.5's shaders.

What is it?

Lenia is Cellular Automaton created by Bert Wang-Chak Chan.

It is similar to The Game of Life, but a little more complex.

Installation

  • First off, you need Godot 3.x.
  • Export this project by going to: Code -> Download Zip.
  • Extract the zip into chosen folder.
  • Open Godot 3.x, click scan, navigate to the extracted folder, select current folder.
  • Double click on the "Lenia" project.
  • Click the play button in the top right.
