I would just change the title:

ERDDAP Dataset Creation (Data Integrator)

by

OBIS Dataset Creation (Data Integrator)

Probably more accurate ;)

@Br-Johnson Let me know what you think of this Dataset Submission Form draft for biological data to OBIS.

Looks reasonable to me! I think once we go through it a few times it will only get more clear. Just a note that the links at the top for more detail take you to documentation for ERDDAP datasets. Is there a long-form description and flow chart for OBIS dataset submission?

Good point @Br-Johnson - there isn't a long-form description/flow chart for OBIS submission (yet), although I definitely think it would be a great idea to create those.

In the CKAN catalogue record, it looks as though only a few of the individual's names made it to the record in Responsible Party and Point of Contact. Only the institution is noted.

@Br-Johnson @timvdstap refer to the pac-dev CKAN website for the in-development records.

I think this the corresponding CKAN record on pac-dev:

@JessyBarrette True, however I was under the impression that this record had already been published a proof of concept. I've notified Nate of the problem and he contacted Matt about it. Seems that although the information is provided in the pac-dev record, in the published record in CIOOS catalogue the name or organization is displayed.

Here are the remaining issues I see in the dev version:

  1. No biological ocean variables to select from (ie. Fish abundance and distribution)
  2. Somehow Tim got labelled as the 'owner' in the Responsible Party section, despite not having checked this off in the metadata intake form. Otherwise, it would be good to put this on the production catalogue.

I'm also wondering of the status of this issue. @Br-Johnson @timvdstap

Yes, this is complete.
