Compatibilty

Supported:

• Gnome, KDE, Hyprland, i3wm
• Windows 10, Windows 11

Not supported:

• Windows 8.1 Problem: Missing Toolbar Icons
• MacOS Catalina 10.15.5 and Big Sur 11.6 Problem: No toolbar!

Suggested Tweaks

Enable Compact Mode
about:config > browser.compactmode.show > True

Startup Image
about:config > browser.startup.preXulSkeletonUI > False

Save Startup Tabs
Settings > General > Startup > Open previous windows and tabs > True (Otherwise size of the top sites will change everytime you open the browser.)

Prevent Pinned Tabs From Loading browser.sessionstore.restore_pinned_tabs_on_demand > True

Toggle PDF reader dark mode

The PDF viewer dark mode is active by default. To deactivate it, just add ?n to the end of your pdf URL.

Install

• Follow the steps below to open the necessary directory:
  • Application Menu > Help > More troubleshooting information > Profile Folder > Open Folder
• Create a new folder and name it chrome
• Copy all of the files into the chrome folder
• Enable user scripts and compact mode:
  • Go to the about:config URL
  • Set toolkit.legacyUserProfileCustomizations.stylesheets to true
  • Set browser.compactmode.show to true
  • Right click Toolbar > Customize Toolbar > Density (Bottom Left) > Compact
• Install vertical tab extension: Sidebery or Tree Style Tab
• Reopen Firefox
• Customize the Sidebery/TreeStyleTabs and Toolbar to your hearts content.

Toolbar color mismatch

Toolbor color is broken after the fix of #9.

The right side of the application menu has different shade of gray.

Application Menu Overshadow's Toolbar on Window Resize

Firefox update broke the toolbar again.
Application menu floats on top of the other icons if the screen is resized.

Can't resize address bar

Hello,

Very nice theme and thanks for sharing it with the community.
One thing I am trying to achieve is to resize the address bar.
Do you have any idea how to achieve it in this setup? At the moment it's really narrow (as it appears in your images) and I'd like it to take up more space in the middle of the window

Firefox update broke the sidebar.

There is a huge blank space next to the tabs.

Add Tabs to the right side of (empty space) panel

I really love this oneline as I was looking for a oneline that supports themes so I can use Nord.
I would suggest you can center the address bar as there is no tabs to fill the horizontal space.
Plus it makes it look good.

Unable to resize TST width

I'm using Tree Style Tab on Firefox 103.0.2, and the OS is Linux.

The resize icon did appear when hovering onto the edge of TST. However, draging the edge doesn't resize TST's width.

As a side note, IIUC, it is now at the narrowest width:

No Toolbar Icons

WIndows 8.1 is missing toolbar icons.

Make it respect the colour scheme of the chosen system theme

Is there a way to make this CSS theme use the colour scheme of my system theme?

I use Arc-Dark, and I really like it. I like your CSS theme (I love how much extra vertical space it gives) as I'm a long-time user of Tree Style Tabs, but I'd love to still be able to use Arc-Dark with Firefox.

No toolbar!

Hello I tried using your userchrome, but when I use it, I get no toolbar. I can't use the theme.
