From the PCB design files, there is an image indicating that the Microscope Lamp is Open Source Hardware:

The "non-commercial" clause in the license file for this project makes this not open source hardware.

The Open Source Hardware Association (OSHWA) has a defintion of Open Source Hardware. As clarification, OSHWA provides a list of best practices that state:

As described in the Open Source Hardware definition and statement principles, the essence of open-source hardware (OSHW) is sharing the design files for a piece of hardware for others to modify or make hardware from (including for commercial purposes)

OSHWA provides further clarification in their FAQ.

If the intent was to provide this project as Open Source Hardware, please revise the license by removing the non-commercial clause to allow for commercial re-use.

If the intent was to not make this project Open Source Hardware, please remove the Open Source Hardware logo as this can cause confusion for people who would make use of this project as if it were Open Source Hardware.
