PONG clock
Show the time while playing a game of PONG.
This clock should not be used for time-sensitive tasks as it might run a couple of seconds late to adjust the time change to the game.
Bill of Materials
- BBC micro:bit (you could use a adafruit itsybitsy m0 or any other microcontroller compatible with tinygo)
- sensor:bit expansion board for BBC micro:bit
- RTC DS3231
- HUB75 64x32 RGB LED matrix
- dupont female headers, wires and solder
Circuit and connections
Connect the RTC DS3231 to the I²C interface (bottom right corner of the sensor:bit expansion board). The rest of the pins as described in the microbit_connections.md file or the following image, be aware there are some connections between the two connectors of the RGB matrix and between the left one and the microbit expansion board:
3D printed cover
I made a simple 3D printed cover. There are 3 tabs pre-cut to pass the power cable if needed, two at the sides and one at the bottom. There's also three holes for screw hooks on top.
