PIXI will split the complexity of computing the graphics and layout algorithm by the processor only. It uses OpenGL - WebGL - when it is available, otherwise it uses Cavas, which is faster than the D3.js SVG.

This means we may allow the user to choose a bigger diagram for a larger network, larger than it supports now.

CellNetVis uses Javascript to select items from the SVG by ID.
Any diagram with valid IDs should work.

Important:

• Each type of region has its own placement algorithm (constraint), therefore the hierarchical structure of the cell must be validated when the user uploads a custom diagram.

The dunet chart is not so good for representing the proportions.
Bar charts will do the job better.
