The sitemap generation in make_pages is confusing. Restructure so this code is understandable and maintainable.

Should probably happen on site build? Or part of making the pages?

DataExtractor_ArchivesSpace.py uses a deprecated AS endpoint as of AS version 3.1.0.

In order to properly work, we will need to update the tree fetching code here.

"Easy Way" install

1. edit variables
2. run install.sh

Hard way

1. existing instructions

The ArchivesSpace sample data set should be updated with data from a more recent version of AS. Should also make sure we get all the components for a collection.

Add basic search capability with lunr.js or similar.

Replace data_cleaned with just one collection and rename to sampleData.zip

This application uses the requests library to interact with ArchivesSpace. Now that ArchivesSnake is a thing, it would be good to implement that in order to reduce the amount of code in this application.

Unsure if we actually need grunt to run tasks. May be possible to just do this via Python or bash. This may allow us to get rid of npm entirely.

For ease of development/testing, this application should be containerized.

either create a new installer for Mac OSX or improve the existing installer so it works on those systems as well.

There are no unit tests for this application!

May be due to lack of config file; look at grunt tasks.

Each object should have its own page, with some info about the collection it belongs to.

Some values in this file are used throughout site; consider recreating.

Jekyll does not support pagination for data files.
