code in Package Control does not match github

The code for External-Programs that I get from Package Control has a run method with this signature:

    def run(self,
            edit,
            executable,
            source,
            through,
            destination,
            panels=S_RESET):

versus what's here on github:

    def run(self,
            edit,
            executable,
            source = None,
            through = None,
            output = "stdout",
            destination = None,
            panels=S_RESET):

As a result, following the docs and specifying "output" in command args results in an error:

  File "/Applications/Sublime Text.app/Contents/MacOS/sublime_plugin.py", line 1082, in run_
    return self.run(edit, **args)
TypeError: run() got an unexpected keyword argument 'output'

The manifest json says version 1.1.4, which is also what github says, so a bit of a mystery...
