Hi,

Trying to install/setup an HAproxy instance on a rasperry pi. I use an ansible docker image alpine/ansible (ansible 2.10.5 and python version = 3.8.8). The remote raspberry pi server: cat /etc/debian_version = debian 12.2 (bookworm).

I get this error:

From https://launchpad.net/~vbernat/+archive/ubuntu/haproxy-2.6 I see no repo for the bookworm version. Is this the reason why it fails?

Another question: Is there any configuration to bypass the PPA repo addition and use the default bookworm repo haproxy package?

As described in our README we will remove official support for HAProxy 2.2 and will support HAProxy 2.4 and 2.6 officially.

When providing . as the folder path of the lintables to ansible-lint it does not lint the folder molecule/default containing converge.yml, prepare.yml, verify.yml, hence folder molecule/ need to be added to the ansible-lint call in the molecule lint commands.

Manage citation metadata as part of the source code repository by providing a file codemeta.json (machine-readable information about your software including citation metadata) or providing a file CITATION.cff (human/machine-readable citation metadata).

This requires to build HAProxy with Quic-Support. This does not work with Openssl as it does not implement Quic.

Instead, the only option is to use the https://github.com/quictls/openssl fork.

Verify, if this is something we can and should support via this role.

Follow-up #125

In version 2.0 of the role the support for the variables

• backends and
• frontend_ip

will be removed. Only the successors haproxy_backends and haproxy_frontend_ip can be used then.
