I am Kali Linux 2017.1. Yesterday i installed anonym8 and after that started the service anonym8. It started then i started privproxy service from terminal and after that my mobile hotspot was connected but i have no internet access. Even after stopping both privproxy and anonym8 serive it didn't worked. Then i used another hotspot and all things are working but the hotspot i previously used during anonym8 services still not working means its connected but no internet access.

I've Successfully Installed The Anonym8 on My Machine, And It Starts Successfully Without Any Errors,
But Still I Can't Open ".onion" Sites.

Instead I Can Open ".onion.link" Sites, Which Are Provided By OnionLink.

So What Should I Do?

The script removed all existing tor config with no backup. If the config is not working on the system is not possible to go back once you disable the script

I've followed every step while downloading anonym8 but keep having the same problems:

• the one on the title and
• Current Tor IP: curl: (6) Could not resolve host: ipinfo.io

I run Kali Linux on VirtualBox

After i install anonym8 and type anonym8 start, there is no internet connection and when i type anonym8 change and getting the ip it print out this message Current Proxy IP: curl: (6) Could not resolve host: icanhazip.com pls help me

I am unable to connect, TOR is not establishing connection and also on the browser internet doesn't work.

I installed today anonym8 the tool worked very good in the terminal but when i try to start as Graphical User Interface its not opening
i see a loading symbol and then it stops...
Please Help 👍

DNS in resolv.conf changes all the time to
nameserver 127.0.0.1
nameserver 213.73.91.35
nameserver 87.118.100.175

i cannot connect back to browse anymore unti i change back to google DNS manually..

fix this please

where is the libvte.so.9 available , I thought it only came as rpm file, I tried to use alien to convert to .deb file but not working?

I've seen alot of comments about internet not working because of anonym8 ... SIMPLE restart Kali linux I had the same thing happen to me today ..

the only other problem I've had since re isntalling anonym8 is tor services ..

Apparently messing with the resolv.conf on Ubuntu makes local dns resolution not working at all.

Hi, a great tool, however lately something's off, when i boot my computer, i can connect to my network, but get no connection whether by console or browser, tried on clean computer and i can confirm it comes from installing Anonym8, something to do with a boot startup ? If you could look into it, would greatly appreciate it.

Unfortunately it won't connect to Internet... I have searched both top and below the Web for solutions but it simply won't connect.
As soon as I boot a live kali usb and install anonym8 ..type sudo kali-whoami --start and check all click enter... complete shutoff from Internet... however torbrowser still works..

anonym8-gui requires gtkdialog package, which is not available on Ubuntu repos.
