Usage

This XBlock is combined of three main parts: items, categories and zones. Items are created inside "Item Management" tab. When creating items it is necessary to add unique item id, select item type and value which can be plain text (for "text" item) or URL (for "image" item), depending on the item type. Categories are created inside "Category Management" tab. When creating categories it is necessary to add category id and, type and value. Category type can be "text", "image" and "blank". Since categories contain zones in which items will be dropped, depending on category type, there is three ways of adding zones

  • If the category type is "text", zone is added inside text block by adding following structure $$zone_id$$ to mark zone. Example:
Lorem ipsum $$zone-1$$ sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Nam $$zone-2$$, eu pretium leo convallis at.
  • If the category type is "image", zone is added by double clicking on the category image. When double clicked, zone box will appear with input fields for zone id. Zone box can be resized and dragged.
  • If the If the category type is "blank", zone is marked with id, width and height which are needed to define the zone. ** Note: Zone ID's must be unique!
