coulr's Issues

Impossible to install

Hi,

I'm trying to install Coulr on Ubuntu 14.10 but the installer can't resolve dependancies :
coulr : Dépend: qt5-default mais ne sera pas installé (= won't be installed)
Dépend: qtlocation5-dev mais ne sera pas installé (= wont't be installed)
Dépend: qtdeclarative5-dev mais ne sera pas installé (=won't be installed)
E: Impossible de corriger les problèmes, des paquets défectueux sont en mode « garder en l'état ».

Thanks for you help.

Picker issue - system installation

Installed outside Flatpak with Meson.

Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "/usr/share/coulr/coulr/window.py", line 286, in color_picked
    color = self.portal.pick_color_finish(res)
            ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Appdata issues

The appdata isn't quite in line with the Flathub metadata quality guidelines, in particular:

  • Screenshots should use platform default window controls (close-only in this case)
  • Summary should not use punctuation, "Enjoy colors and feel happy!" would be fine without the exclamation mark

For a perfect score the app would also need a new icon that doesn't cover the entire canvas, but that's a bit more difficult. If you're interested in help with that, feel free to request it here: https://gitlab.gnome.org/Teams/Design/app-icon-requests

Color picker is a couple pixels off to the horizontal axis

The color picker is a couple of pixels off to the horizontal axis. As you can see in the following screenshot, the point of the color picker is clearly in the blue region, however the color picked is yellow, which is a couple pixels to the left:

Color picking on the vertical axis seems to work okay.

Additionally, it looks like the color picking point of the cursor is at the white border of it. But is there really a need for the white border? I think that the cursor without it should suffice, as the black point of the cursor is where I would expect the color picking to happen.
