Raw Image Builder

This repo creates a number of blank images for a couple of ARM dev boards. These images have the necessary partitions, sizes and filesystem - but not actual files.

Currently there is the following image:

• rpi-raw-image with two partitions (FAT + EXT4) for the Raspberry Pi
• odroid-raw-image with two partitions (FAT + EXT4) for ODROID (eg. XU4)

Contributing

You can contribute to this repo by forking it and sending us pull requests. Feedback is always welcome!

You can build the root filesystem locally with Docker.

ERROR: Error installing serverspec net-ssh

Hello,

I get this error when I try to build the image using a Mac :
make rpi-raw-image

RubyGems system software updated
ERROR:  Error installing serverspec:
        The last version of net-ssh (>= 2.7) to support your Ruby & RubyGems was 4.2.0. Try installing it with `gem install net-ssh -v 4.2.0` and then runningthe current command again
        net-ssh requires Ruby version >= 2.2.6. The current ruby version is 2.1.0.

Any idea ?

generate sha256 checksum

Generate and upload file with sha256 checksum to releases to verify the result

f2fs (Flash Friendly File System) Support

As the title suggests: any plan to support f2fs, specifically for an rpi2 image?

From a cursory look: It looks like build an f2fs image here is easy but we might need a more recent version of guestfs than is in debian/ubuntu to support f2fs on guestfish.
