Bypass Paywalls web browser extension for Chrome and Firefox.
Seems to be broken on bostonglobe.com currently.
Hello? I appreciate your hard work for developing this money-saving extension.
I found this extension in Firefox Add-ons website, but the extension for Chrome users have no choice but to download the source code.
I look forward to your kind answer. Thank you.
Hi adam, please could you add The Spectator and The New Statesman to the Chrome extension? Many many thanks in advance! :)
Thanks for your plugin.
Can you add caixinglobal.com to bypass-paywall-chrome? The websites is on bypass-paywall-firefox.
And hope you can add caixin.com
When i check the "The New York Times" checkbox for bypassing the paywall it crashes the login for nytimes.com and cooking.nytimes.com it does the same on firefox too please fix this
I follow the directions to drag the extension folder into the chrome extensions page, but nothing happens. Can you help me figure out what's going wrong?
Later I installed a file and it did install. But Chrome isn't letting me enable it because it says it's not found in the Chrome store.
Hi, I've tried installing the extension by drag-and-dropping the folder into chrome://extensions but it doesn't work.
I did this instead:
It doesn't seem to work anymore, even after I removed the cookies from WSJ. Is anyone else having the same problem?
https://www.news-mail.com.au articles still are not working.
EG: https://www.news-mail.com.au/news/mumstobe-flee-private-sector-due-to-soaring-costs/3570105/
Refresh several times and then it takes effect.
datacamp.com
I’m unable to install this extension on my chrome browser. I dragged the folder into the chrome extensions page, but nothing happens after that and the extension doesn’t install.
Would appreciate any advice and tips. Thank you.
The Atlantic has a paywall now (example). Any way to break it?
There is no response from the browser, either blocking, error,...
Developer mode is on.
It looks like the Medscape bypass is no longer working. I'm seeing two paragraphs and a login box now.
Spectator.co.uk
Hi there,
Thanks for the fantastic extension. however, it does not work with Chrome 67.
Can you pl take a look?
Thanks for making this! I've installed ublock origin, and the latest extension and was testing out various sites, but found ST's paywall:
Please add foreignpolicy.com,Thanks!
Hi Adam,
I've started getting completely blank pages on Haaretz.co.il with the latest versions on both Chrome and Firefox. Disabling the 'Haaretz' item in the extension's website list immediately fixes this, with the website showing as normal.
Any idea what this might be, please?
Hello Times Literary Supplement
https://www.the-tls.co.uk/ thank you for the hard work. rgds,
Would you add Singapore straits times
The website is https://www.straitstimes.com/.
Can you add Bypass Paywalls for Chrome to Greasy Fork or OpenUserJS so that this extension can work with Tampermonkey and can update automatically? Thanks!
Don't have any problems, just wanted to say thanks!

I started getting the you have used your limit of free articles.
The GDPR warning just keeps reloading and reloading. As a temporary measure I had to untick WaPo in this extension and use a Tampermonkey script: https://steemit.com/javascript/@deelawn/how-to-bypass-the-washington-post-paywall
I'm sure it's something simple, such as one particular cookie that indicates the GDPR warning has been accepted needs to be left intact; thanks for this great extension!
This extension could be made compatible with the Chrome Web Store by removing all sites and user-agents already included within it, and replacing them with external data that could be loaded by the user.
This would be similar to how the ad-blocking extensions work that load external filter lists.
Not only would this make the extension permissible in the Chrome Web Store, but also updates would then come in the form of updated data, with few or no updates in the extension itself. Users could then also manually add sites (and user-agents) without rebuilding the extension.
Site-specific characteristics (e.g., when to clear cookies) could take the form of check-boxes.
Bypass-Paywalls v1.3.4 doesn't affect https://www.haaretz.co.il/captain on new Chrome 71.0.3578.20 (Official Build) beta (64-bit). Bypass-Paywalls used to bypass the paywall on previous Chrome 70 beta.
Recently upgraded, and the extension seems to get an error now:

Het Financieele Dagblad (fd.nl) changed their paywall system.
doesn't work wih barrons and ft economist clearing cookies and uncheck/recheck didnt help other sites ok nyt wsj wp tho didnt check them all
Bloomberg.com has added a paywall. Can you look into blocking it?
Doesn't work on Medium
Is it currently working to bypass Medium paywall? I just can't make it work there.
Not working for nytimes.com.
Crain's Chicago recently did a full site redesign and it has broken the bypass plugin. Just thought you should know. Thanks for all the hard work!
Hi there,
The extension doesn't seem to be working with certain bberg articles. For ex: https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2014-12-04/colombia-s-50-billion-infrastructure-need-attracts-btg-ashmore
When I click on that link, I get a message saying that I have to be a Terminal subscriber to view the article. I have successfully bypassed the banner with ScriptSafe, but if I leave ScriptSafe on and browse other articles, the pictures on the articles are completely blurry. Thank you.
Could you consider adding support to foreignaffairs.com ?
Thank you so much for work in this extension, I really love it!
Articles on seekingalpha.com go behind a paywall after a period of time (maybe a week). Is it possible to bypass that?
https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/AMZN
But if you open that paywalled article in Incognito mode you can read the first page. I think if you disable certain scripts it can load the entire article in a single page (rather than putting them behind multiple pages, with the paywall engaging when you click to page 2). Ideally being able to read the comments on the page would be good as well.
Thanks
Wired is in the Firefox extension, but not Chrome. Added it myself to the remove cookies list and options and it's working.
const remove_cookies = [
Any chance sfchronicle.com's paywall can be circumvented?
