A flutter audio player for short audio asset files, such as beeps.

A player for short audio asset files, such as beeps.

On Android, this uses the SoundPool API, with audio attributes set to AudioAttributes.USAGE_ASSISTANCE_SONIFICATION and AudioAttributes.CONTENT_TYPE_SONIFICATION with max streams of 1.

On iOS, this uses the AVAudioPlayer API, with audio category set to AVAudioSessionCategoryAmbient.

Getting Started

Before any calls to BeepPlayer.play, the audio file needs to be loaded first using BeepPlayer.load, otherwise it will silently fail. Don't forget to unload it when no longer needed.

beep_player's Issues

Can't hear any sound.

several error on IOS 16

we are gettin these error on IOS 16

AVAudioSession_iOS.mm:2374  Failed to set category, error: -50

AVAudioSession_iOS.mm:2365  Failed to set category, error: 'what'

ATAudioSessionPropertyManager.mm:359 FAILED to set property 1684431725 on AVAudioSession with error Error Domain=NSOSStatusErrorDomain Code=-50 "(null)"

the project also using flutter_web_rtc

do you have any clue what might be causes these error ?

because AVAudioSession setting are harcoded in the plugin we are not unable to play with these options
