Will not run on ubuntu just failed with this lovely error.
No error log to be found....

I tried your program and it gives me this error:
segfault at e ip 000000000042fd72 sp 00007fffc06b7a90 error 4 in bash2pyengine[400000+110000]
I'm running Linux Mint and Arch Linux, both give me this error.

first i download your app on this webstie

so when i install it ./install i got this error

and then i was try'ing to using it, i thought it was Nothing and then i just ignore it, so i run this

./bash2py -f /home/Document/Kiara/kiara/socket.sh

and then i get this error ( idk is this error or not )

Segmentation fault (core dumped)

and when i check the name was socket.sh change into socket.sh.py
and when i open it, it's blank

so, now i'm trying to read your Manual Document or anything that related on this error

I got this error when I was installing through bash2py manual

when i try to run ./install I got this thing
install: line 4: make: command not found

and later if I ignore and run the ./bash2py -f and the {path}
I got this error

'bash-4.3.30' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.

Could you please check it out

I'm not using any Docker Build

I'm been using your docker bash2py trying to get it to work but , I'm getting this issues

./bash2py -f hello.ksh.
"Segmentation fault"

It creates the hello.sh.py file but is 0 bytes. anyway trick to fixing this ?

When running ./install all the check go well, but it fails while creating a file. The stdout (unfortunately in Czech, but you will get it :-) ) is:

I thought I would resolve it with installing as superuse, but I get pretty much the same:

mv bash bash2pyengine cp bash2pyengine ~/bin/bash2pyengine cp: nelze vytvořit obyčejný soubor '/root/bin/bash2pyengine': Adresář nebo soubor neexistuje make: *** [Makefile:598: bash2pyengine] Chyba 1 -rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 3674320 29. lis 21.03 bash2pyengine

To me it looks like make tries to create the bash2pyengine dir in a bad location (instead of /root/bin it should use /bin and instead of /home/user/bin it should use just /bin as well).

Hi Ian,

This looks helpful, but I haven't quite sussed it out yet. How can I run this from the command line?

I've tried:

$ docker run --name bash2py -it --rm imiell/bash2py bash -f deploy.sh
bash: deploy.sh: No such file or directory

I am trying to install a docker image of bash2py using following command:
docker run https://hub.docker.com/r/imiell/bash2py/

Please correct me if doing it wrong.
