ift-developer-zone's Introduction

Welcome to the IBM Food Trust™ Developer Zone!

IFT Developer Documentation

You will find documentation for IFT development on our WIKI.

IFT and Blockchain Transparent Supply Examples

With the success of IBM Food Trust, IBM has made the underlying foundation applicable to all industries (not just food) and released IBM Blockchain Transparent Supply. IBM Food Trust is now one instantiation of IBM Blockchain Transparent Supply, and as such the API examples have been moved to here: https://github.com/IBM/transparent-supply-examples

Don't worry! The same APIs that have been used against IBM Food Trust are supported against IBM Blockchain Transparent Supply.

ift-developer-zone's Issues

Custom fields in EPCIS messages

Hello, we have use cases where we wish to transmit custom fields along with its value as part of EPCIS messages. We know GS1 EPCIS has provisions for the same, but the question is, how does IBM Food Trust platform handle those values? Does it appear as part of the UI when the user consumes these events? Thank you.

Delete functionality in assets

Feature Request

Based on the API documentation, it seems that there's no API for deleting an asset at the moment. It can be really helpful during integration tests between IFT and third party application.

Thanks

Not able to push data through API

First of all, I'm a student and I'm trying to integrate IBM Food Trust to a start-up company which is used by the farmers to manage their paperwork.

I'm not having a clear path to understand when I push the data to my IBM Food Trust account. Can you please navigate me to the right page for instructions? There are facilities and products and how to push the product first, then maybe how one product goes from another point to another. I'm just having a tough time getting it. I will really appreciate any kind of help.
