Installer reboots at 12 minutes remaining

hey, today i've tried installing Big Sur 11.3 (with the offline installer) with your repo; i have your exact same configuration of the surface pro 4 and i can succesfully boot and start the installation. but once it gets at halfway through (12 minutes remaining) it performs a reboot.

after that, in the OC menu there's both the USB install option and the "macOS installer" option.

selecting the first one results in the same thing: installation rebooting at 12 minutes remaining.
slecting the other one, theres first an Apple logo with progress bar which reboots into a verbose screen that After about 5 minutes shuts down the machine.

am i doing something wrong with the installation or is there some sort of solution ?

How do you fix the button?

VoodooI2C-2.6.5 possible? Only VoodooI2C-2.3 is working.

Hey there, once again.

So, I have been updating the kexts from all around and I came across this little minor "issue", so to speak.

I see that the VoodooI2C version used here is the 2.3.

Is there anyway to get the latest version working on this?
I have been trying, but I either don't have trackpad and keyboard or I just don't have the keyboard.

I would need to boot up into MacOS itself to see if the gestures are working, with the mix the I found, but since I can't type my password, I can't confirm this.

Anyway, the question remains.

Is it possible to use 2.6.5 and still have both the keyboard and the trackpad with gestures working?

Wifi usb dongle not working

Hi in previous versions of open core from bigsadan the wifi dongle was working perfectly with RtWlanU1827.kext, RtWlanU.kext kexts here no such kexts and when i install the kext i get error with them any advice and how u got ur wifi worked?

MacOS Installer not showing up in OpenCore Boot Selector

Hi! I have the same exact SP4 model as you listed here. I tried installing MacOS Big Sur with your EFI and this recovery image: https://archive.org/details/base-system_202102 (downloaded both DMG and CHUNKLIST and copied them into "com.apple.recovery.boot" in my USB)

When I try to boot from USB, the OC Boot selector is loaded but there's just a "Windows" option, with no way to access the MacOS installer. I haven't seen this problem discussed elsewhere and there isn't much help avaiable online so I'm opening this.

Greetings, fellow Surface Pro 4 owner and hackintosher.

First of all, congratulations on all your work.
I just tried it out and it works great, as expected.

I have the exact same model as you.

I already had my own almost-fully functional EFI folder based on OpenCore 0.7.0 as well (obviously can't get the touch and the Wifi / BT to work, same as you).

But apart from that, there is something else that has always bothered me and that I've been trying to find a way to fix, but have been unable to.

The volume and power buttons on our Surface Pro 4 do not work, which is a shame.

I tried asking in BigSadan's repo, but alas, he is not very active anymore and got no reply.

I came across someone who had this issue too and was able to fix it, but sadly didn't go into much detail on how he did so, which is a shame.

Therefore, I came across your repo and saw that you are active in replying to the one issue that was posted and was wondering if you are willing to figure this out together.

I tried your folder in the hopes that the power button issue would be fixed, but alas, it was not either.

Marvell Bluetooth device not detected in the USB device tree

Hi, it's a project that enables macOS on Surface Pro 4. I'm trying to make it better by developing a bluetooth driver for the Marvell 88W8897 [AVASTAR] chip.

Now the problem is my bluetooth device is not detected in the USB device tree (I'm running BigSur 11.6.5 on Surface Pro 4). It is a precondition for a bluetooth driver to work. I guess there is some DSDT hacks to do.

Could you investigate the issue? Thanks!

Big Sur 11.4 YouTube and Netfilx not working

Netfilx on Safari keeps giving an error.
When I open a video on YouTube on Safari, the PC crashes. I have to restart.
