tencapsule's Issues

Problem with touching links while navbar is expanded

From: a2e6027
Branch: navbar
Reproduced on:

  • Firefox Nightly 63.0a1 (2018-08-07) (64-bit) -- Reponsive Design Mode [642px to 280px wide, touch enabled] on Windows 10 64-bit
  • Firefox Nightly Mobile 2018-08-07 on Android 7.0

Did not appear on:

  • Microsoft Edge on Windows 10 64-bit -- Mobile-size window

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Open /website/default.html on navbar branch
  2. Touch โ˜ฐ to expand navigation menu
  3. Touch near slogan text (in the non-linked area)

Observed behavior:
The user is taken to the link found in the carousel (Either C1, C3, or RTS)

Expected Behavior:
The navbar should disappear and the user should remain on the homepage

Color Palette Needs Reconsideration

Relevant commits are subject to the following requirements:

  1. No content may be added, removed, moved, or changed
  2. Only color CSS rules may be edited

If you cannot meet these requirements, consider following the procedure in #16.

New Logo

I have some new ideas for the logo. The plan is to...

  1. Use all sans-serif fonts
  2. Make it more circular
  3. Add some creativity and deeper meaning

Relevant commits may include:

  • New Logo files added, changed, or removed.
  • Changing pictures in HTML
  • Movement of pictures or restyling in CSS

If you cannot meet these requirements, consider following the procedure in #16.

CSS Improvement

Relevant commits are subject to the following requirements:

  1. Any changes to the code must not change the appearance of the website unless a filed issue is being fixed.

If you cannot meet these requirements, consider following the procedure in #16.

Consistency among Capsules

Relevant commits are subject to the following requirements:

  1. Prior to merging to ncapsule, all included frame features must be on all capsule pages.

If you cannot meet these requirements, consider following the procedure in #16.

Content + Positioning

If a high-quality commit cannot fall into any one of the trackers, do the following:
All changes relevant to the other 4 trackers should be rebased, practically or literally, onto the new changes.

Copy NavBar onto all pages

The new navbar from 023b0bd should be on the capsule pages, too. Relevant HTML (in <header>), CSS (anything referring to the HTML), and JS (below // New NavBar) needs applied to */default.html in /capsule1/, /capsule2/, /capsule3/, and /gospel/.

Cross-Lesson Links are broken

Any place within one of the capsule pages that links directly to another capsule page is likely broken. It looks for that page in the current directory, when it needs to look from up one level.

Known instances:

  • Capsule 2 > Matthew 28 > "Acts 1:8-10"
    • While we're at this one, expand the link to include the word "lesson"
