Toggling fullscreen is slow and blanks the screen.

Probably that call to dispose()

File load/open is slow.

Despite using a FileDialog instead of a JFileChooser, load/open times are a bit lacking.. it can be better.

rewrite and update.

I still use this surprisingly bad as it is, time for some hooks and mebbe a builtin repl. Still going with Java.

GUI doesn't update on hiding or reshaping components.

After hiding components, the panels etc.. you have to resize the app for it to get redrawn.

Linux version has interface scaling issues

The current LAF seems to be tuned more for Windows or something like that.. On Ubuntu 13.04, the app looks awful. Will check for ways this can be fixed.

Opening a file and saving it or saving (as) doesn't update with the new version.

Opening a file and saving or saving a file doesn't update with the new version, instead you continue editing the same file, the one saved is like a snapshot or something..
