I just saw your (old) post on Reddit. I actually started to contribute to the FLOSS community by translating Android apps. I then later moved to F-Droid project, doing simple stuff for them.

I would suggest to add F-Droid to this repo. Their translation page is here

The thing is, F-Droid provides some links for every apps distributed (mainly the link to source code, etc...), but it also provides a link to the translation project for the app itself (see docs). For example, the link to translate Newpipe or FairEmail are displayed on their respective pages.

It makes F-Droid become a good way to find Android apps to translate, and also ease the process for translators by directly giving a link to translate the app :)
