Sync doesnt complete fully on 32 Bit windows binaries.

Actual behaviour

  • Sync stops at block 4137 due to error Sigma spend failed due to incorrect final response.

Desired behaviour

  • Sync should complete to latest block without issues

Steps to reproduce

  • Download the 32 bit binary in latest release.
  • Run the 32 bit binary.Wait for sync to be past 4k blocks and on the exact block of 4137 checksigmaspendtransaction check will fail.

Fix DB initialization errors on user accs with special chars

Users with Special chars in the username of their windows user acc have reported problems on being able to open the wallet due to db initalization errors.Some progress was made on using utf8 to read files/db files but may need more changes to work with special chars on usernames.

Fix balance calculation issues

Some users report their balance decreasing on each stake,or in some cases increasing drastically on each stake.I havent found a way to reproduce this but needs to be fixed soon.

Typo in menu

Under the settings tab - "Lock Wallet" there is a typo in the description on the bottom left where it says "yout" rather than "your".

Fix unit tests.

Unit tests has been mostly unmodified during fork from zcoin initally as focus was on adding PoS and customizing it to the needs of IDX.Unit tests in the boost test suite in src/test needs to be modified to pass properly.

2nd part is running the python based test suite and making sure those also pass.

Reindexing/Syncing Issue W/ Blockchain

Actual behaviour

After having the wallet open for any long period of time, the wallet will not stay synced to the blockchain, and "0" active connections to the network will occur. This also happens if the wallet has been closed for a few hours then reopened. Using -reindex helped the first time but now it's not even reindexing fully.

Desired behaviour

Wallet will always be synced to the network when open, displaying the proper coin amount.

Steps to reproduce

  • Open wallet and keep open for an hour or so.
  • Close wallet and come back after a few hours.
  • Notice that there will be no active connections and the blockchain will not sync at all.
