I have checked your ìpàdé source and its features, and it seems that there are many better features than the existing Jitsi. I am particularly impressed with the Voice Transcription feature. I have several questions in this regard.
Did you develop the Voice Transcription feature yourself?
Or did you develop it using open source? If you developed it with open source, what is the name of that open source?
Can ìpàdé store voices in a database such as MySQL separately for each user?
Can I use it by duplicating your ìpàdé repository on my PC and configuring a virtual host within the web server of Nginx or Apache, just like the existing 'Jitsi Quick Installation method'?
I copied all you file to a webserver with a FQDN and it works out of the box.
So now it is setup to connect to "meet.jit.si" server.
How can I make this work with my own server?
I have jitsi meet installed and working with my own urls, but I want to use breakoutroom, so I need the ipade front-end.
How can I edit your config.js in order to make it work with my own server?
In the file config.js there are nine references to "meet.jit.si"
Can we replace with "meet.jit.si" with "my.own.server.org" ? Which lines need to point to this server?
Hello, I am a beginner for jitsi meet. I was trying to implement a breakout room in original jitsi meet. Some search took me to this project and I am really impressed by the new functions you have implemented. Therefore I would like some advice on my own implementation. I have two ideas and I want to know which would be more feasible.
Have each breakout room as different meeting and link the different meeting to the page, and put a link on each page. So the attendee can click on the link, they join the selected meeting.
Have different attendee in the same meeting, if they click on join room1, only people which also click join room 1 will be unmuted and others will all be muted.
I also want to have your opinion on how you did it in this project, which file did you change and how does it work.
Sorry for any inconvenience and I am looking forward to your guidance.
You guys somehow managed to host what is basically Jitsi Meet on a static website server like GitHub Pages.
I would love to know how that's even possible, and why the main Jitsi Meet project doesn't do something similar instead of having to run a full blown server to host Jitsi.
Hello! I've tested ipade in the past and was able to get the transcription in the chat. However, it doesn't seem to work in this edition. I've tested on Firefox and Vivaldi/Chromium, but neither works.
I see this dialog window, but I'm not sure what to put in the fields:
Just want to make you aware so that you can make improvements, your new breakout room gives 404 errors to the participants, while last year's breakout room was awesome. it was working without any problem.
