bias's Issues

issue of Synchronizing two cameras

Hi, I want to record the animal behavior by using two cameras (Flea3).
And I want them to start recording at the same time.
I want to use external trigger but it seems bias software still doesn't support external server mode.

Is there any way to solve my problem? or should I just use the Flycap2 ?

It would be pleasure if there's any help.
Best regards,
Junesu LEE

jpeg format crashed BIAS

Trying the most recent release with blackfly cameras, and when I try to use jpeg format BIAS crashes and closes.

unable to initialize spinnaker?

Hi, this software was recommended to me by some colleagues at Janelia, hoping you can help figure out my error?

I get the error message below ("failed to connect" / 102 / "unable to initialize spinnaker" / -1006) when clicking "connect".

I'm using release 0.62 (the pre-built executable) on windows. If I run SpinView, the cameras (there are two) both come up fine and display live images as expected. When I run BIAS it does open two windows - corresponding I assume to the two cameras - so that seems promising. I tried running the "_debugwin" version but there's nothing displayed in the command prompt. I couldn't find anything about these error codes or error text on some google searching. Any suggestions/help much appreciated, thanks.

linux build problems

Hi there,
I'd like to try building BIAS on linux, but I get an error during make.
I've installed the newest version of spinnaker and opencv, and I had to modify the FindSpinnaker.cmake to contain the correct path and correct library name (libSpinnaker_C.so.2.5.0.80)
cmake goes throguh but make only gets to 11%:

..bias/src/utility/mat_to_qimage.cpp:28:33: error: ‘CV_GRAY2BGR’ was not declared in this scope

So I assume I don't have the correct opencv version.
I didn't have much luck installing the older opencv version that's suggested in the windows install instructions.
Any help is much appreciated!
Thanks,
Marton
