proteus's Issues

Wrong Logging

Execution Time from State "Executing" to "Waiting" is lost (e.g. HumanTask)

Refactore serialization of processes

At the moment, for all model-classes which should be serialized with JSON, exist additional classes.
We have to copy all infos from model-objects to these JSON-objects for serialization and from JSON-objects to model-objects for deserialization .

If the model has a nice design, the JSON-classes are no longer necessary.

There are also some workarounds for the editor in serialization, since it is a OSGi project, the jackson classloader does not see the JSON-classes in the process.util package.

https://stackoverflow.com/questions/19724312/jackson-deserializing-custom-classes-in-an-osgi-environment

Support for gtk 3

At the moment, a NullPointer in swt plugin is thrown, due to incompatibility with GTK 3 which is used on newer Ubuntu version (>16.04?). So some menus are not reachable (like Installation Details in About section).

To prevent this, we should update the corresponding plugins.

At the moment, the following option in the .ini file let us work with gtk 2:

--launcher.GTK_version
2

Docker Image

Build Docker Image of PROtEUS. So PROtEUS, Feedback-Service and OpenHAB can be deployed as Docker Containers.

REST API

There should be a REST API for PROtEUS, to access at least the important functions like:

  • list processes
    • running
    • executable
    • finished
    • failed
  • start processes

Or would it be better, to expose the complete API via REST, including state changes and deployment?
