Can you provide a complete example that reproduces this (perhaps a smaller one that brings down a small VM)?

What are the types and sizes of model, res, and type_run?

The inefficiency is probably in serializing the partial wrapper, which is going to result in N local copies of the curried arguments when it's serialized.
