Flowchart is a STATA module/package that generates publication-quality Subject Disposition Flowchart Diagrams in LaTeX Format. This package generates PGF/TikZ code through texdoc, compiled in LaTeX to produce the diagram as a PDF. The final diagram is the same in style as ones used in the PRISMA Statement, CONSORT 2010 Statement, or STROBE Statement Reporting Guidelines.
Your -fowchart- package has no real competitors as far as I can see. The World Bank's program -statflow- outputs to Excel, but doesn't do the complete job that your program seems to do.
Unfortunately I don't use LaTex. So the ability to output the flowchart in another file format would be extremely useful. Examples could include: text, Markdown, RTF, MS Word or Excel? I note that in 2018 M.S. Gillman published a Stata Journal on exporting to RTF. https://journals.sagepub.com/doi/pdf/10.1177/1536867X1801800112
Any hints and/or an example DO file would be greatly appreciated.
