epntap's Issues

map_scale description

Recent change in sec 2.3.3 adds description "Provides scale as a ratio" for field map_scale, but the table in section 3 still lists it as a Text field with description "Format TBD". The tabulated type and description should be updated.

Inconsistent spatial reference frame definitions

At line 1025 of current version, we can read:

The native coordinate system used with the dataset can be described by parameters spatial_coordinate_description and spatial_origin

Later, at line 1585 of current version, we can read:

These two parameters provide a description of the spatial frame in use, depending on the spatial_frame_type parameter. Both parameters relate to the coordinates provided in the EPNCore table, not necessarily to those included in the data products.

Those two statements seems contradictory...

UCD

Apparenty an issue with em.freq;stat.interval;stat.min / max
(stat.interval should be last, as per http://cds.unistra.fr/UCD/tools.htx)
em.freq;spect.binSize;stat.min / max looks better anyway

Several formats for a data product

At line 221 of current version, one can read:

\item Only one data product is linked per table row, and parameters
in that row describe that product. The same data provided under two
different file formats must be described on two table rows.

There are two ways of doing this:

  • either having separate rows (as stated in the text)
  • or having a primary granule version (with a specific format), with other formats accessible through datalink.

I propose to modify the text as follows:

\item Only one data product is linked per table row, and parameters
in that row describe that product. In case the same data product is
distributed with several formats, there can be either as many rows
as there are various formats, or there can be main data product (with
the preferred format), and other formats distributed through datalink.
