it worked , but if I make a new folder from macOS , and put files to the folder , JKSV will display "F" in file mode
and if I use the folder to import saves , JKSV will be crash ...
macOS v10.15.5 , exfat , JKSV v06.07.2020 , I had been deleted all dirty data (like .DS_store
; .Trash
...)
but if I use the folder is make from JKSV , like multiple times to save and put the files to the folder , and use file mode to one by one rollback , will be okay (I think rollback from the folder will be okay too)

This can be very convienent in some instances when transferring big batches of saves for lots of games because otherwise you would have to go through all the games you want to restore saves on and open and close them to generate a save to restore/overwrite. But as well as displaying the games installed on the system you should also to show saves of games that have been generated because if you for example played witcher 3 and generated a save there and decided to delete it, you would still want it to show up in jksv even if its not on the system anymore, the save is. Hope you understand what i mean.

I found that the save data of Animal Crossing New Horizons cannot be dumped because it is not displayed in the Gui. Could it be due to the data size of 222 MB? I don't know of any other game that creates such a large save data.
I wanted to edit my System Savegames directly, but JKSV can't just export my desired save file e.g. 8000000000000050
for SystemSettings
(occupied and cannot access).
I can edit it manually through direct manipulating on an EmuNAND, but I don't know how to fix the validation (not really understanding every part of it), and results unable to boot.
I have asked on GBATemp but seems no one interested in it. I want to know how can I fix the validation. ofc it would be best if we can have a side function in JKSV to do the fix.
Would be nice to have this convenient feature in a future release. It makes sense to have a restore all button as well as a dump all one.
ok so i can't explain how many times I've pressed Y accidentily to dump all lol.
J-D-K could you please make it so that when you press the Y button to dump all it brings up a prompt and asks to press and hold A to proceed to dump all or you can press B to back out. this small but useful enhancement would make things very easy and stop mistakes if somebody accidentily presses Y.
if my restore all button enhancement gets accepted then could you please apply the same thing to the restore all button as well as the dump all one.

I tried clicking "Ok" without typing anything but it just returns me to the Game Menu
Looking for a way to change where JKSV saves files. Right now it saves them to /JKSV, but I HATE having my root cluttered with a bunch of crap. Other tools like Checkpoint and NXdumptool use /switch/Checkpoint or NXdumptool directory (or <.nro folder directory>) to save their crap in, and I'm looking to do the same
Any way i can set JKSV to save to /switch/JKSV instead?
For some games (so far, Pokemon Let's Go Pikachu/Eevee, Pokken Tournament DX), the save directory is titled with the 16-char TitleID.
010003F003A34000 should say Let's Go Pikachu
0100187003A36000 should say Let's Go Eevee
0100B3F000BE2000 should say Pokken Tournament DX
Some games like Pokémon Sword and Shield use both FsSaveDataType_SaveData
and FsSaveDataType_DeviceSaveData
type saves. Currently JKSV simply ignores FsSaveDataType_DeviceSaveData
data. I would like an option that can dump and restore the FsSaveDataType_DeviceSaveData
for games that use it independently of dumping and restoring FsSaveDataType_SaveData
profile saves.
It will freeze when exporting MCBE save file on a .mcpack file
Hi! I'm using a brand new switch lite running FW 10.0. I had trouble installing it that stuck on the pegaswitch screen for over an hour. I wonder if its a common problem for FW 10.0 or it' lite's problem. Thank you.

I think this is what most people want because it makes it easy to manage our software
We should allow users to simply hit start on the save keyboard without adding any text and just use the current date and time.
So i was busy doing some stuff on my switch like backing up restoring saves then i found out that my pokemon quest save wasn't being restored, no matter what it just didn't want to restore. I took the same save and restored it with checkpoint and it worked fine. So it seems to be an error with jksv. Hope this can get fixed.
Great work with this app, it has replaced checkpoint as my save management tool, one thing I would like is the ability to favorite titles so they appear at the top of the list for quick backups
I restored my Backup from "Device Saves" and "BCAT" but the game starts still from the beginning.
I can open also the files in the Animal Crossing Savegame editor.

The Title Rescan option in version 05.20.2020 causes a system crash.
My saves work fine but when I restore and imported ACNH save when I start the game it puts me in the beginning. I know this isn't normal as others are able to load my save no problem. If the save didn't originate from my switch it starts from the beginning. I am able to put all the saves in nhse so I know the saves work. For some reason it just when I restore it it still starts a new game. Any help you can give me with this will be greatly appreciated.

So Im tying to dump/extract my save of animal crossing and whenever i go to my computer it is not there. Is there a solution to this?
I made a txt file and dropped it into the JKSV folder, when I try to backup a save though, the app displays the contents of the entire JKSV folder instead of the properly named folder

Hello all, so I edited my animal crossing save and am able to play the game with my edited save that I restored to my system with JKSV when I launch my switch in "homebrew mode", if you will. However, when I power on the switch normally ie without entering RCM or anything, the save data is the non-edited version. Am I missing something? Why can I play the game on my edited save in "homebrew mode" but not in "standard mode"? Any sort of help is appreciated, thank you!
I used kefir to create a linked nin profile and it deleted my other profile but the deleted profile shows up with a blank picture and named numbers/letters is there anyway I can make the deleted profile not show up in jksv
As I have not seen any tool that could do it.
Could it be added to allow JKSV to "delete saves stored on the Switch itself" aswell ?
Maybe protect this feature with the konami code or something, to stop sob-stories from unfolding.
Deleted a save in error (X v.s. Y on Xbox and Switch controllers 😬). Would be nice if I could enable a setting where I have to hold A for 5s to delete or something like that.
the new version of JKSV for the Switch is absolute WASTE
It is not possible that you can no longer name the saves you create. who made this up, please? Unfortunately there are many games that only show the game ID instead of the game name as FOLDER and then you can no longer tell the whole saves etc. PLEASE undo that, it is annoying in this way.
and holding down the a button only annoys ...
it takes up unnecessary time, even if at least I can understand the security query. it still annoys.
After using the save manager, Animal Crossing will not allow me to connect to online services. Every other game works perfectly fine online. I've tried resetting my console and not using the save manager to alter the game and online works fine, it only gives me errors after i actually use JKSV to transfer save data.

I just upgraded from 03.21.2020 to 05.20.2020 and the Icons are now wrapping around instead of showing up in one row. (No big deal) I still and unable to make a new backup of Animal Crossing in Device Saves or BCAT (Also no big deal as I can use Dump all from Device Saves and BCAT to backup my Animal Crossing) My Issue come in that the naming of the folders has changed!
I'm used to seeing:
BCAT - 2020.06.02 @ 18.01.10
and
Device - 2020.06.02 @ 18.01.00
but now they show up as:
BCAT - Wed Jun 3 11_24_28 2020
Device Saves - Wed Jun 3 11_24_16 2020
This doesn't help me keep these folders in chronological order so the new ones are easy to find. How can I got back to the older folder date format?
Can you please re add the feature to insert the actual Date/Time by pressing R/ZR, when making a Backup like in the previous build? Would be nice!
Today I accidentaly press Y on the menù and backup everything in my memory, it would be nice if it would be added the "keep pressing Y" so that doesnt happen again
Hi, i can restore many backups of my games but for Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive Edition, when i made a backup and restore, the folders are empty with nothing else inside. So sad, i loose so many hours iam going to cry. Same thing with "checkpoint".

By default, Atmosphere uses it's system settings ini file to reserve enough memory for the SWKBD when running homebrew in applet mode. I updated from JKSV's 3.21.20 release to the 4.10.20 prerelease and noticed that I was no longer able to name backups in applet mode so it would be nice to have this feature back.
I'd like to be able manage my sysMMC saves when booting to the emuMMC.

I was accidentally updated to 10.0.0 and even though JKSV did not say anyway that it was officially supported, I tried it with animal crossing. It backups the save fine but when trying to restore it, it says that animal crossing is corrupted. I’m hoping this is a simple issue with 10.0.0 and in a patch I can get my island back.

Made an account to post about this issue since I'm not sure of how to fix, but after updating to the latest version of Kosmos, JKSV is no longer able to open, saying the software will close as an error had occurred. Everything worked fine before updating. I've tried the 5-20-2020 release and a GBATemp version from today and nothing seems like it's working.
Hey Just wondering whether it's a possibility. I accidentally deleted my animal crossing save from the backup menu, it says it leaves an archive of that save I'm just trying to recover it.

It slows down my use case as I always overwrite a certain save slot, an option menu to disable that protection feature would be nice
Add "disable of hold A to overwrite save" option to settings.
For those that can spell redundancy in their dreams.
This might have to do with specifically Animal Crossing data, but when i change the 'auto backup' to 'OFF' it will be 'ON' again once I come back to the menu to swap saves around again.
