EMMASDALE SDA CHURCH

Purpose

  • Emmasdale Sda Church is a MERN FullStack app that helps leaders disseminate important information(upcoming events, latest happenings, program guides, lessons etc) to its members.

Why MERN

  • I have been learning the MERN stack fro some months, i decided to test the skills i had acquired thus far.

Challenges

  • i am not able to update my posts from the frontend but in postman ist working
  • understanding the youtube Api

Appeal

  • Feedback on anything is welcome, i am eager to here from you

Run The App Locally

npm run install-dependencies
  • rename .env.temp to .env
  • setup values for - MONGO_URL, JWT_SECRET, JWT_LIFETIME, CLOUD_NAME, CLOUD_API_KEY, CLOUD_API_SECRET
npm start
