Fortran library for reading output files generated by MESA (Modules for Experiments in Stellar Astrophysics). Extends fortranDF to read in files as Fortran data frame.

Currently this repo is quite barebones -> it will be updated.

Segmentation fault with certain versions of gfortran

Due to the dependence on fortranDF, gfortran versions 11-13.2 will cause segmentation faults. The same workarounds are used here for now.

Use character (len=*), parameter declarations

    character(len=17),parameter :: rfmt = "(1pes40.16e3, 1x)"
    character(len=9),parameter :: ifmt = "(i40, 1x)"

can be replaced by

    character(len=*),parameter :: rfmt = "(1pes40.16e3, 1x)", ifmt = "(i40, 1x)"

The compiler counts the lengths of the character literals on the RHS.
