It is easy to add shortcuts produced by 'Start Menu Manager' to a toolbar next to the System Tray like this:

But, it is not possible to add the shortcuts to the System Tray itself, without using a 3rd party app.

Currently in the "Select Icon From Website" you can only pick icons from a URL that returns HTML, and the images come from tags within the HTML.

It would be good if you could enter a specific image URL to use that image.
E.g. https://cdn.jam-es.com/img/start-menu-manager/icon.png
Currently it gives no result, but it should give you a single image to select.

I am trying to create a shortcut to a program I have written that requires a command line parameter like this:
MyProgram.exe Parameter1, Parameter2

SMM works if I leave off the parameters but that's no help. If include the parameters, SMM complains that the file path does not exist. Bummer.

The 'Start Menu Manager' icon gets downsampled by Windows 10 to be displayed in some places. When downsampled the icon looks bad. Most noticeably it has jaggies.

Try:
Rerendering from SVG at lower resolutions to avoid Windows' downsampling.
Or might need to remake the icon entirely for lower resolutions.

By default Steam creates shortcuts in form of Web Documents with steam:// protocol. I tired to create one but it only accepts http(s)

I'm trying to create a Firefox shortcut with argument -p Work ( -p stand for Profile ) but I'm getting an error ( see below )

Would be nice to get an Automatic Update notification of new version available.

In Dark mode, the 'Start Menu Manager' has a dark blue accent colour on fields. This has bad contrast making it hard to see the caret and underlines.

Icons are missing from the context menu in the JSON editor. See this screenshot.

This was fixed on one of my other repos, so the changes just need to be copied.

Some applications display additional context menu options on shortcuts which appear in Taskbar or Start Menu. These could be additional options for 'Start Menu Manager' shortcuts.

Downloaded through edge chromium and after downloading it marked as a harmful app and deleted it. Look into that if you can rest is working great.

Add support for opening files/folders/software on network drives through SMB protocol.

After installing the program I'm unable to run it with the following error:

When checking the installation folder settings.json seems to be missing entirely.
