Currently you can create a new iter instance from a generator, iterable or iterator. But you can't always pass one as an argument.

e.g. this doesn't work

function* set() {
  yield 1;
  yield 2;
  yield 3;
}

const obj = iter([1,2,3,4,5,6]).except(set)
console.log(obj.toArray())

Same thing with except(iter(set)) works

Also, iterators like set.values() may work unpredictably because they won't be cached when used as an argument. See

They work at all becuase the iterator specification also says they should expose [Symbol.iterator] but this just returns itself, not a new iterator
