Context

What User Story I'm Working On

I am working on the user story "User wants to add and remove interests from his profile."

What I'm Trying To Do

I am trying to have the user go to the /interests/select path and select the interests he wants on his profile.

Detailed Description of the Bug/Error

The method to add interests works, but the method to remove interests does not. The error I'm getting is posted here. Also see below:

The line of code causing me problems is posted here. I think the issue is with the && operator. But I don't see why it doesn't work since this is in a Ruby file.

What I've Tried

I've been googling how to change this comparison operator, but I don't see why it doesn't work.

Question

How do I change this method so I don't get the operator doesn't exist error?
