javamoney.github.io's Issues

Check in JBake source for this web site.

The JBake source for this site should be checked in somewhere. Since this is the repository for an Organization page, the master branch should contain the rendered page. The source code should either be in a source branch or perhaps a separate repository.

HTTPS for javamoney.org

Now http://javamoney.org/ makes redirect to http://javamoney.github.io/ i.e. it uses HTTP instead of HTTPS. It can make a redirect to https://javamoney.github.io/ instead.
But https://javamoney.org/ doesn't work at all.
Even when you making a search in Google it shows http://javamoney.github.io/ instead of javamoney.org.

Please make javamoney.org working on HTTPS and without redirect to github.io as described here

Blog post for Final

Assuming Final Approval Ballot closes in favor, there shall be a blog post for the 1.0 release early next week (after May 11)

Publish javax.money javadoc on website

Hi!

We had javax.money validators contributed recently to Hibernate Validators and we wanted to point to the javax.money Javadoc in our Javadoc. I haven't found any good place to point out our links (the only published Javadoc I found is on javadox with a lot of ads). Could you envision to publish the Javadoc on the javamoney.github.io website at a stable URL?

Thanks!

Guillaume

Blog frontpage does not get updated by JBake

At the moment the "Blog" feature of the JavaMoney site uses the blog "archive" (http://javamoney.github.io/archive.html) because for some reason JBake no longer updates the blog "frontpage" (http://javamoney.github.io/blog.html) when baking. Unless it's a JBake related problem (please feel free to try with different versions locally) some meta-information could be wrong/missing, or the number of blog entries may have exceeded this format and template. The "archive" page does the job, so it's not a critical issue, but the front page would be slightly more appealing if it can be reactivated.

Update for Final Release

In coordination with JCP (after the Final Review Ballot) the Final Release should be announced on javamoney.org.

Update, move or delete 'Precision' and 'Implementation Notes' pages on Java.net

I'm not sure where to file an issue for this problem, but since this website links to the pages on Java.net and may be the correct place for the updated information, I'm creating it here.

Both the Precision and Implementation Notes pages on the Java.net project refer to an implementation using '2 longs' -- which I'm pretty sure is no longer true.

Those pages should either be updated with correct information, updated with links to the latest information (perhaps in the spec?), moved to JavaMoney.github.io, or simply deleted.

Change "Modules" to something else like "Links"

The "Modules" menu item seems a bit misleading. It suggests 3rd party modules, but at the moment it only covers parts related to JSR 354 or JavaMoney. Another name like "Links" sounds better.
Leaving the term "Modules" for e.g. a list of actual 3rd party modules compatible with JSR 354 here on this page.

Update version numbers of modules

The version number of the How-To/Readme pages for each artifact like API, RI, TCK says "0.8-SNAPSHOT". That should be increased or phrased in a more neutral way like "0.X-SNAPSHOT".

Fix some typos

Occasionally there are typos or classes with a wrong/outdated name, e.g. "MonetaryOPerator" (api.html)

Migrate from Java.net - JIRA
