Quick and lazy way to set up materials (primarily) for avatars from Vrchat

Requirements

  • Blender 4.0 +

Installation

  • Goto releases
  • Download latest
  • Open Blender
  • Goto Edit -> Preferences -> Add-ons
  • Install Lazy Avatar Nodes

Usage

  • Press N then goto Tools
  • Click the material you want to apply textures to
  • Now if your model uses packed maps (Metallic/Smoothness) make sure to enable it through the button otherwise turn it off and apply your roughness and metallic maps as is
  • Click create nodes
