i installed wine1.7 hdsdr installed on debian jessie following your directions,it rivals the window installion no problem .
Not many linux sdr programs out there So Thank you for a great job....
Did try to install sdr console , its a no go to many errors

Does this work with API Installer 1.6.0 & EXTIO Plugin 3.6?

I went through your install tonight (12/30/15) and when I try to start HDSDR.exe
it has a problem "Failed to load API DLL" ...

The path it shows is correct but I wonder since the SDRPlay API & EXTIO has been updated
since you made you fake dll's maybe that's the problem?

New SDRPlay API 1.8.1

Now that 1.8.1 API is released for Windows and also for Linux, can we have a new version of this "fake DLL"?

Trouble installing

Your instructions say:

After this, as root, create file /etc/ld.so.conf.d/local32.conf with this one line. Only if you did not do this >earlier.:

/usr/local/lib/i386-linux-gnu

This is confusing!

/usr/local/lib/i386-linux-gnu is a Directory. It can not create a file. How do I create the file /etc/ld.so.conf.d/local32.conf ?
