Game Controller File Reader is an iOS App that allows you to read PDFs with a game controller. This is especially useful for people with repetitive strain injury and other conditions that can make using a touchscreen difficult and unpleasant.

Things to Improve

UI

• Figure out what percentage of the screen the PDF page should take (this looks terrible right now)
• Maybe have the folder hide after a PDF is opened since they can use Start
• Add a "press Select for help" panel somewhere

UX

• Get the right balance for speed when flipping pages
• Figure out how people would actually use it (e.g. would they want to select the PDF with their controller too?)

Features

• Configurable controls (ties to the pressing Select for help UI change)
• A view to select previously read PDFS (could we do this through the Files app too? It does not regard our app as "viewing")
• A way to save a user's spot in a PDF
• Support for other file types (a folder of images, EPub, Docx, etc.)
• Maybe add a "use DPAD to scroll up, down, left, right" to go with the new zoom feature
