This is a proof of concept for a pandas ExtensionArray backed by Modin.
Usage
In [1]: import pandas as pd
In [2]: from modin_ea import ModinDtype, ModinExtensionArray
In [3]: ser = pd.Series([1, 2, 3], dtype="ModinDtype[int64]")
In [4]: ser
Out[4]:
0 1
1 2
2 3
dtype: ModinDtype[int64]
ser behaves (mostly) just like a normal int64 pd.Series, but is backed by a Modin object instead of a np.ndarray.
Note: Many currently-xfailed tests should pass once modin supports pandas 2.0.x.
