John,

I am using the makepol script on the Cape Sharp radar data and I am receiving the following error:

cd /media/shared/2018-05-22/17
makepol -n 129 -s /usr/lib/R/site-library/flow/csh_radar_site.json T17-00

Error in writeBin(prePad, f, useBytes = TRUE) :
can only write vector objects
Calls: exportWamos -> writeBin
Execution halted

Do you know what might be the problem?

Great, seems to be working now! I am just noticing one thing, when
I convert the .dat files to .pol.bz2 the timestamp goes back 3
hours. For example, the following files:
csh-2018-05-22T171*.dat
became:
20180522141502csh.pol.bz2

Looks like an incorrect timezone. Not sure why, but your user is defaulting to localtime.
I'll have the script switch to GMT.
