PRE-REQUISITES

• Oracle Application Express 5.0.2

INSTALLATION

1. Download the latest release
2. Import plugin dynamic_action_plugin_com_zxcvbn_password_strength.sql to your APEX app
3. On the page with the password input item, add a Dynamic Action:
   • Event = Page Load
   • True Action = Password Strength Estimator [Plug-In]
   • Set Affected Elements (e.g. item name(s), or a jQuery selector)

Idea for styling?

Hi Jeff this looks a really useful plug-in thanks for posting it.

I was playing with something called strength.js a few months ago https://www.jquerycards.com/forms/inputs/strength-js/ (none APEX related)

Maybe its something you can incorporate styling wise to your input box instead of the weak/poor/good/ etc notification text outside of the input box. I think the logic for passwords in your plug-in is much better.

Just a thought other than that its working great !
