rid.py's Issues

making the code work

Hi,
Sorry if my problem is not actually an issue with the code. I am having problem simply using the package.
I want to use it to analyze a bunch of tweets but I couldn't find any example. What I am trying to do is following:
import rid #importing the package
A=rid.RegressiveImageryDictionary() #making an instance
A.load_dictionary(rid.DEFAULT_RID_DICTIONARY)
A.load_exclusion_list(rid.DEFAULT_RID_EXCLUSION_LIST)
B=A.analyze("hello my name is Payam and I am sad that I cannot run the code")
A.display_results(B)
#######

#######

Output:

                : 0.000000 %

15 words total
#######

Can you please tell me what am I doing wrong?
Or what should I do in order to get 3 columns getting Primary, Emotions, Secondary scores and also the freqdist of employed dictionary

Thanks a lot

Python3

Hi there,

Thanks for making this available. I've made some changes locally to get this working with Python3.

I was hoping to submit them and get the updated version on pip. Does this repo allow pushing branches? I don't seem to be able to push my branch.

Thanks
Sam
