rolebot's Issues

Can't run the bot on Windows 10?

I'm on Windows 10 and I use the discord .exe software.
I installed the python 3.6 and the Git software.

I used the Git software to download bot/code/repertory from Github.
Then I created the API and configured the "config.py". Then I tried to launch the "brain.py" multiple ways.

I tried to run the "brain.py" with the git or CMD, Python 3.6, Git and it just closes and doesn't give me any links? it just either closes or if I run the bat or ch file it gives me an error. I tried with and without my VPN and still doesn't work. it seems to be due to it not findind something "ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'discord'"

I tried everything to run the bot it doesn't want to run and can't seem to host it myself?
I found a way to invite the bot manually to my discord server but it appears offline.

Still not working.

Do you have any plans to finish the build? We have a rather large server with a lot of roles and we would love to be able to add the functionality of this to our server. If I knew more about python I could probably fix it, but as it stands I cannot.

Possibility of old message linking using ID

Was wondering if it was possible to link a previous message made by the bot to a plugin when we restart the bot, for example if I have a message w/ reactions and people used it but it went down for some reason so I need to restart it now but that means I have to run the command for plugin again and create new message. Instead of having to create new message is there a way to modify the plugin with the previous message ID so it would continue using that to give tags/roles?

lmk

i was wondering if you would like to help me by adding the reaction based roles via discord.js
