Hi yahka Team,

while yahka allows for some built-in conversion functions, there are a lot more required to get homematic or other devices mapped properly to homekit devices. Most of times there is not more than 4 states that need to be translated to 4 different states, but sometimes it is just a function/calculation e.g. RGB to hue and saturation... or 0 and 1 to false and true...

It would be great to have some feature that would allow to add custom conversion functions.

Neben user/passwort werden andere Adaptereinstellungen (zB Station bei Weatherunderground, API-Schlüssel, Geolocation) im Klartext geloggt.

Jedes mal, wenn ich die Bridge zu Homekit adden will, crasht der Adapter.

Hallo, ich würde mich über eine Sortierung der Devices freuen. Im Moment ist alles ein wenig durcheinander vom teste her.
Möchte nun auch ungern alle Devices neu Einpflege, da es doch ein wenig Arbeit ist.

Nach einiger Zeit sind alle 66 Geräte (Homematic/CCU2) auf Fehler bzw. gesperrt.
Beim letzten mal musste ich die Mac-Adresse ändern und alle Geräte neu zuordnen, was sehr viel Zeit gekostet hat.

Ich bin überrascht wie extrem schlecht yahka.0 läuft (im Vergleich zu Homebridge).

Hat denn sonst niemand hier dieses Problem? Gibt es dazu keine Abhilfe?

Im Logfile steht nix.

Wenn ich jetzt ein neues Gerät hinzufüge, funktioniert das neue auch, die anderen Geräte aber nicht.

1)Gestern wurden plötzlich meine YAHKA Geräte nicht mehr in IoS erkannt und konnte auch lange nicht wieder zum laufen gebracht werden. Mittlerweile läuft er wieder, aber ich habe im Log jede Menge Fehlermeldungen, die ich nicht beheben kann.

Daten:
IoBroker mit Buanet Image.latest auf Synology DS713+
YAHKA 0.7 (automatisch aktualisiert beim Einspielen des Backups)

Probiert:
Image gelöscht, neu geladen und Backup eingespielt. Keine Erfolg. Keine Erkennung im IoS
Alte Version/neue Version, keine Änderung
Adapter gelöscht und neu installiert. Keine Erkennung.
Im Terminal apt-get Upgrade durchgeführt. Danach wieder im IoS erkannt. Aber Fehlermeldungen bleiben

   Button zur Auswahl der Objekte mit den ... hat keine Funktion, sowohl bei IE als auch bei FF. Auswahl bei Objekten und einfügen in das passende Feld funktioniert.

Aber zumindest funktioniert die Erkennung wieder. Bei jeder Änderung in der Konfiguration kommt dieser Fehlerliste. Die Einträge bei den Ereignissen schreibt der Adapter aber trotzdem.

nach einigen Wochen hat sich Yahka einfach verabschiedet. Alle Geräte waren nicht mehr erreichbar. Auf dem iPad hat es funktioniert aber iOS tot. Hab die bridge entfernt, alles neu installiert, Name, serial, mac I'd etc - wirklich alles geändert. Aber die bridge erscheint nicht mal mehr. Hat jemand irgend eine Ahnung? Mein halbes Haus basiert auf yahka (gerade meine innr Birnen). Hab keine Siri Steuerung mehr. Jemand ne Idee?

Some functions are not ranged starting from 0, e.g. in HomeKit the TargetHorizontalTiltAngle for WindowCoverings, it is from -90 to 90.
The current implementation is assuming to always start from 0, so it would be good to have a min and max value setting for homeKit and ioBroker values.

gibt es im Yahka eine möglichkeit , wenn ich die Rolläden über KNX steuer, die Werte um zudrehen?

Das heißt, meine Aktoren geben zurück 0% für Rolladen auf und 100% für Rolladen zu.

Wenn ich die Rolläden über yahka eingebunden habe, dann zeigt es mir bei 0% Rolladen geschlossen und bei 100% Rolladen geöffnet an.

Kann man das irgendwie einbauen?

Current conversion function HomematicDirectionToHomekitPositionState covers only Homematic classic direction state:

However Homematic IP does not have a 'Direction' state and the actual direction must be determined by status of 'Process' state and comparison of 'LEVEL' state (old value vs. new value).

I love your work, but I have the issue, that I can't set a value (Hue) conversion for Hue or other Lightbulbs.

Also I have the Issue, that whenever I change Color Values in the Home App, the only edited values are hue. Saturation would need to be changed aswell but it doesn't.

Ich kann das leider aufgrund meines fehlenden Wissens nicht durchführen, würde mich aber als Tester anbieten.

first all yahka works perfectly (actually yahka is a major reason for me to use iobroker).

However, I have one feature request: display or support for power consumption

Many wall-plugs (like the Fibaro or the Homematic wall plug) include an energy meter, meaning they also measure

• the actual energy consumption
• the total energy consumption

yahka so far just supports the switch-function (on/off) but seems not to support "energy consumption"

It would be great to have either

• an additional service-typ "Energy meter"
  or
• additonlly in the "Merkmalsliste" of the service-type "outlet" the "Merkmale" acutal energy-consumption an total energy-consumption.

This feature would be highly appreciated.

Hi,

configured some lightbulbs and switches using yahka on iobroker. These lighbulbs and Switches are running on the KNX bus. Here there are two different addresses / datapoints used for the "set" command and for the "state". In homebridge it is done by "set" and "listen" so two different datapoints can be defined. See Picture below:

So to have the correct behavior also in Homekit / yahka an additional characteristic for "state" within the Services would be needed.

There are devices that use the separate datapoint for state and other that use the set datapoint for both. For the second case yahka works already correctly.

Thanks again for this great adapter!
However I have serious RAM issues. In a normal idle idle state my ioBroker shows around 40% of free RAM (RPI3). I an quite happy with this, but whenever yahka is restarted (or crashes) my whole ioBroker crashes (ENOMEM Exception).
In my opinion this is due to the fact, that when yahka is started it shows 300 to 400 MB of MEM usage for the first ~30s.
So what I am doing to mitigate this is to stop all adapters, start yahka, wait till MEM usage from yahka gets lower, then start all other adapters.
Issue is: This can only be done in a controlled fashion. Whenever yahka restarts due to a crash, everything crashes...

Sure I could probably mitigate all this by buying Hardware with more RAM... but to be honest 40% free in a normal State should be enough, Right? However it isn‘t for yahka.
Is there any Chance to do some performance tuning for yahka, or some throttling during yahka start?

Hi, ich versuche die Alarmanlagensteuerung von Homematic einzubinden. Ich habe dazu lediglich bei SecuritySystemTargetState den "State" des Gerätes aus dem hm-rpc Adapter eingetragen. Die Sirene erscheint dann im Apple HomeKit mit den Statusanzeigen "Zuhause","Abwesend","Nacht" und "Aus"... ich kann aber keine Automatisierung mit irgendwelchen Türkontakten vornehmen. Kann man es irgendwie so einstellen, dass man den Status "An" oder "Aus" bekommt? Oder ist alles richtig im yahka eingestellt und der Fehler liegt eher im Apple HomeKit selbst?

Hi, ich habe mal Elgato Eve getestet. Dort habe ich leider bei dem Türsensor sowie Temperatur und Luftfeuchtigkeit in Rotes Dreieck mit Ausrufungszeichen. Die Werte werden zwar angezeigt aber irgendetwas scheint Ihn da zu stören hast du da evtl. eine Idee was er noch haben möchte damit es geht. Bei Active hab icch schon true und 1 probiert hat aber auch nichts gebracht.

@GermanBluefox: funktioniert der eingebaute Wizzard? Bei mir passiert nichts außer einer Konsolenausgabe.

Hallo,

Minustemperaturen wurden in Homekit nur mit 0 Grad eingezeigt. Dabei ist es egal, ob der Datenpunkt in ioBroker mit der Quelltemperatur den Typ String oder Zahl oder sonst etwas hat.
Wenn man das debugging von yahka einschaltet sieht man, dass der Wert (z.B. -3) anscheinend korrekt verarbeitet wird.

forwarding value from ioBroker ('-3') to homekit as ('-3)

Es wäre super, wenn du jemand mal schauen könnte woran das liegt. Ich komme mit meinen rudimentären Programmierkenntnissen hier leider nicht weiter.

I propose to add a name check on the device names to hinder duplicates which result in crashing of the bridge and pain in removing that error (had to delete the original device and re-add everything with a new name to avoid the collision ). If I try to add a device and name it similar to an existing one he should show a kind of error message and not accept it.
