The IoT farming device is a device aimed at allowing the user to control and monitor a number of variables that help a farmer grow their plants.

It notifies the user of a low soil moisture level using the IFTTT platform.

Features:

  • Gathers moisture level of the soil
  • Uploads data to cloud platform (ThingSpeak)
  • Smoothing algorithm to ensure reliability of data
  • Server on the Arduino board to allow for remote control via HTTP
  • Voice control through Siri and Google Assistant, enabled by HTTP
  • Neat enclosure!
