wp-photo-sphere's Issues

Plugin only working on Chrome (desktop & mobile) and Safari (mobile)

Hi Jeremy,

I have a problem with the plugin concerning browser compatibility.
Displaying 360-degree images works just fine in Chrome & Safari, but on FireFox (Version 61.0.1 "Quantum"), Microsoft Edge or Microsoft Internet Explorer.

It just displays "loading" in those browsers after clicking on the loading-link.
I tried different approaches like autoload, same problem.

Image size is 10000px x 5000px, filesize 3.5 to 5.5 MB.

Is there any problem perhaps with the canvas implementation cross browser?

Thanks in advance!
Greetings, Sven

Bug: gyroscope jumpy on android and enhancement request: move picture on gyroscope

Hi,

I noticed that when the gyroscope mode is activated on android the pictures is jumpy in some place, https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-vr-view/ for example does not have this issue.

It would also be nice to be able to move pictures in the gyroscope mode so that i that you can for example look back or up without having to move the phone 180° but still have gyroscope for smaller angles.

Thanks for the great app!

Plugin not compatible with exif version 2.20

Hello,

I really like this plugin, thanks for developing it !

Photo sphere and panorama from google camera (cf pixel 3a phone) now uses exif version 2.20. When I upload it to wp photo sphere I get stretch panorama that does not contain black bars anymore. However, they were functional when I was using exif version 2.10.

Is it possible to get a workaround before this new version is supported ?

Cheers

Spheres on Internet explorer have lower resolution

Hi,

don't know for sure if it may be some setting, but at least on "stock" MS internet explorers the plugin brings low pic quality. Especially along edges of objects raw steps become visible, while a Chrome on the same machine brings the same sphere in perfect quality. This applies for both preview and full window modes. Tested this on Win 7, 8 and 10, with identical results.

Otherwise a great plugin, brought the first real use case for my 360 deg cam :)

With best regards

Ralph.

How to use in blogger / blogspot?

Hi,

Can this be converted to a standalone Javascript that can be embedded in a blogger blog? Ideally all I would need to do is copy/paste the code and change the file URL.

Thanks,

Shan

Fork of WP-Photo-Sphere using fork of mistic100's fork of Photo Sphere Viewer

Hi Mr. Heline,

I wanted to let you know that I love your plugin, but wanted the improvements mistic100 made to your Photo Sphere Viewer so I forked your plugin with a minor rename (currently working title WP Photo Sphere Smooth): https://github.com/enlewof/WP-Photo-Sphere. I plan on submitting this to the Wordpress plugin directory but plan on giving you majority of the credit since I only really changed the javascript libraries and not too much of the PHP.

Doesn't work on mobile

Works ok'ish on Mac (Safari, Chrome, Opera), but when I try to open it in Safari on my iPad (iPad Air) it crashes and reloading the page.

Also, on Windows (Chrome) it just displays a black square, no panorama. Thoughts?
