Reci.pop()

A virtual cookbook designed with simplicity in mind. It provides a space for users to create, save, and share favorite recipes. The front end was built with vanilla JS and styled with vanilla CSS. It runs with a Ruby on Rails back end API. Built in collaboration with Iuri Seara.

Installation

To use on your local machine, clone this repo along with the back-end which is found in the recipop-backend repo. Run npm install to install dependencies. Follow instructions for back-end installation.

Features

  • Search recipes by name
  • Filter recipes by category
  • Favorite recipes to save for later - can also unfavorite
  • Add comments which other users can see
  • Create a new recipe
